Why Drive an EV?
Electric vehicles are an excellent option for drivers who are tired of having to spend so much money on gas. When you drive an EV like the F-150 Lightning, you will never have to spend money on gas again. EVs also cost less to maintain, because they don't have engines.
Trim Levels
The F-150 Lightning has four trim levels for customers from Arcadia, FL, to choose from:
- Pro: The base trim comes standard with two electric motors with all-wheel drive, 452 horsepower, and 775 pound-feet of torque. Also comes standard with a suite of safety features, the SYNC4 infotainment system, and a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen.
- XLT: The second trim offers an interior work surface, a digital productivity screen, available adaptive cruise control, available heated front seats and steering wheel, an available power-operated tailgate, and available in-dash navigation.
- Lariat: The second-highest trim adds standard heated and ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise control, a power up/down tailgate, and a premium eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.
- Platinum: The top-level F-150 Lightning trim adds BlueCruise semi-autonomous driving, Zone Lightning, an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen Unleashed audio system, and available Max Recline front seats.
Performance
All F-150 Lightning models have a fully electric dual-motor setup that provides standard all-wheel drive. Models with the Standard-Range battery produce 452 horsepower, while models with the Extended-Range battery produce 580 horsepower. Both Standard-Range and Extended-Range models produce 775 pound-feet of torque. A properly equipped F-150 Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds. The F-150 Lightning has a maximum payload capacity of 2,000 pounds.
Tech Features
The F-150 Lightning comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen display, which is powered by the Ford Sync 4 infotainment system. A 15-inch infotainment touchscreen is available for customers who want a larger display. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard, so you can easily connect your smartphone to the infotainment system and access playlists, navigation apps, messages, and more. Standard in-dash navigation helps ensure you can always make the most efficient trip from Lake Placid to your destination. A standard Wi-Fi hotspot provides internet connectivity for you and your passengers when you are on the road.
Safety Features
It is essential for you to feel safe as you drive in your F-150 Lightning, which is why the truck comes standard with the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of safety features. Standard Co-Pilot360 features include:
- Standard forward collision warning automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection: Detects potential collisions before they happen, alerts you to take action, and automatically applies the brakes if necessary.
