I have been a Chevrolet owner for almost 30 years. I recently parted ways with my 99 Tahoe (600,000 miles) in favor of a used 2021 Silverado 2 years ago. It was not purchased at Alan Jay, but I started taking it there for occasional service. At just over 60,000 miles it began experiencing a transmission issue. I took it in expecting the worse (just out of warranty), but was pleasantly surprised when the service advisor, Mark Betscher, became my advocate and was able to have the repair covered by the warranty. Unfortunately, the part was back ordered and took 2 months to be delivered. During the interim he kept me informed and when it arrived, yesterday, gave me priority for completing the repair. The icing on the cake was a full repair and at no cost to me, even though I did not purchase the vehicle through Alan Jay. They have earned my sincerest appreciation and gratitude for going above and beyond. I will be going to them for my future purchases. Update: 5/5/26 Since my original post I have returned twice for routine maintenance. On both occasions I made appointments and they had me in and out with no costly surprises. They were spot on with their estimates and it was a great experience from start to finish. They even allowed me to view the repair while in progress. Their service team is top notch!

Had a very first appointment with Alan J GMC Chevrolet Cadillac today. Met Jesus, our service advisor and Phil the service Director. Very professional very courteous very cordial and a real pleasure to meet them. They serviced our vehicle quickly and efficiently and the pricing was very reasonable, considering the Quality of doing business with the actual manufacturers dealership franchise. Facility was spotless and they accomplished everything in a very reasonable time as well. Being in the automobile business for 30 years, I know Quality in a dealership when I see it. Directly addressed my issue, recurring PO26D engine code on a Duramax diesel, which is a blanket code for multiple causes. I was able to communicate directly with the Technician, Ron, and he was very receptive and I feel they have resolved my issue. I have driven the truck about 300 miles since they worked on it and so far, it is great!

Stopped by on the 28th to get an appointment, Jesus Ortiz told me to pick a day. I picked 7/31/25 @ 7:30 am. We were in the service drive thru area when this took place. I showed up at the agreed upon time and he was waiting for me. My Equinox was fixed by 9am and I was on my way. This service department and especially Mr. Ortiz have been wonderful, and I have been a regular customer with 3 different vehicles for the past 7 years.
